THE CAPE TOWN SHOW
The annual Good Food & Wine Show is one of the country’s biggest culinary shows, with highly interactive content and exciting new experiences every year.
This year’s show includes a sensational celebrity chef line-up, expert speakers, unique immersive experiences, and innovative food and wine activations.
The show’s line-up will showcase urban farming and gardens, take a look at food markets and track the move towards more sustainable lifestyles. There will also be demonstrations on the latest in nutrition and a number of unique sensory experiences. Alongside the educational element, foodies will still be able to experience the latest and greatest on the culinary scene, with celebrity chefs, street-food stalls, baking demos and an exciting new-look wine area featuring an interactive wine pairing theatre.
Here visitors can look forward to special tastings, talks, a wine smell wall, as well as wine-and-food pairing sessions designed to turn enthusiasts into connoisseurs.
Good Food & Wine Show will run from 27 May to 29 May 2016 at the CTICC in Cape Town from 10am until 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 10am until 6pm on Sunday.
Tickets cost R140 for adults, R100 for pensioners (free on Friday), R100 for students (with valid student card) and R50 for children ages 13 to 18. Children under 12 enter for free. You can also buy a Wine Combo Ticket at R160, which includes entry to the show, a wine tasting glass and six wine tasting vouchers. Tickets will be available through Computicket and at the door.
